EXFIL-36 saddlebags feature hand-crafted construction and ballistic-grade materials—everything from heavy-duty polyester nylon and PVC-treated synthetics to heat-resistant canvas, nylon MOLLE straps, and molded quick-release buckles. Each hand-crafted bag’s main compartment will hold 36 12-ounce cans. That’s three cases for the pair—plenty of capacity for your next long-term bugout. Who says you can’t take it with you? These saddlebags are big enough for just about any motorcycle adventure. Multiple pockets inside, a fleece-lined easy-access one on the outside and plenty of MOLLE and tie-down loops to attach extra gear to the outside makes the EXFIL-36 saddlebags unique. These bags are universal-fit, but keep in mind you’ll need to add some generic saddlebag mounts for your particular bike to keep the bags away from your rear wheel. As with most saddlebags, relocating the turn signals will help keep the bags tucked in and tidy.

Installation note: Motorcycle exhaust is super hot! If your exhaust exits directly into or under these bags, even though the bottoms are reinforced with heat-resistant material, there is a chance it can scorch the bag or melt the contents inside. Rain covers melt or catch fire easier than the ballistic nylon due to the rubber coating that makes them waterproof, so please keep that in mind. Also, if you install the bags empty, check them again after you’ve loaded them with gear. You may need to adjust the yoke or other parts of your mounting procedure to keep the bags away from exhaust heat. It’s a good idea to check all luggage every time you stop, just to make sure things haven’t shifted while you were riding.

Huge Bags, great quality, great value, Used the exfil 36 on my Sportster to ride 1500 mile round trip from Germany to Budapest and had tons of space left over, even with over packing. Would be perfect for two people on a multiple day trip.

I have yet to have them mounted up on my bike but I can already tell that these are vary "Biltwell" very purposeful and not an inch of waste of space on these bags, working on rebuilding my brakes and front forks before I take off this summer to Port Angeles in August. Looking forward to the trip and looking to have a good time when I get to the MotoFest campout 😎

I don't have much experience with saddlebags but I never liked the fact that they were just these leather boxes with no significant storage compartments, this Biltwell gear is so superior and different that everyone notices it at first glance... The material it's made of, the Molle system, the compartments everywhere, the fact that they seal my stuff so well from outside weather conditions even without the raincoats they come with.

One improvement opportunity? it needs rougher material at the bottom... My exhaust pipe heat tore the outer layer of the right side one... even if there is tough material inside, I think it shouldn't have the Kevlar on the outside and just leave the rubber bottom... I'll share pics if requested. The bag is still 100% usable, it's just torn on the outer layer at the bottom of it... I don't know if that will keep tearing up in the future.
