- Polycarbonate plastic material resists impacts from flying road debris
- Five nickel-plates stainless-steel snaps attach the shield over Gringo eye port
- Fits XS-XXL ECE-certified Gringo helmets and L-XXL DOT-certified models
- Clear, Smoke and Chrome tints available
- Provides 91% UV/A and 99% UV/B light resistance based on AATCC-138 test standard
- This shield is not anti-fog coated, but you can apply your own aftermarket anti-fog spray of choice
Easy to install in a snap by fastening it to the five snaps around the eye port on your Gringo helmet. Removes quickly for storage or cleaning. Use mild soapy water and a microfiber cloth only for cleaning. DO NOT put harsh household or petroleum-based chemicals on the shield as damage will occur. Apply a drop of standard light household inside each snap before installation to reduce oxidation and make removal easier.

Great for a gringo, but for an open face helmet the upper snaps could use a little more wiggle room like your bubble shields.
Perfect fit! The gringo has been my favorite helmet for a couple of years now and the blast shield is a perfect addition.
I like the simplicity and flow of the Blast! shield...if it fogs up, just pop the end snap for a bit.

Getting the yellow one too
Always convenient!!
Shipping was well timed, as I got to use the face shield right away. I couldn't wait to try it out. It looks super cool on my helmet and I love that no one can see my face while I'm riding. My helmet is a light gold color and this shield looks sleek.
I had purchased the gringo helmet and quickly realized that I needed a shield for it. I ordered the blast shield, but when it arrived it was missing one of the buttons that secure it to the helmet (see pic). I was bummed. I called the company and told them what had happened and the guys at Biltwell quickly got a new shield sent off to me. I slapped that sucker on my helmet and went for a sweet, bug free ride. The blast shield itself is pretty nice. It fogs up a little in the morning but that is to be expected I guess. It maintains that cool retro look of the gringo and compliments it well. I couldn't be happier with the customer service at Biltwell. Thanks again.

Fit my Gringo perfectly. Very dark tint so best used on sunny days.
The face shield held up well on some of my longer rides, easy to put on / take off as needed.
Very solid feeling shield. The tinted plastic itself is super flexible, and the snaps feel very high quality.
Looks kind of old and dated…kind of like me…probably why I like it so much.
Awesome vintage style shield with the helmet.
High quality, fits perfectly on my Gringo. Really makes a difference flying down the highway.
awesome
Freakin nice. Keeps rocks and bugs out of my eyeballs. Plus I can remove it and switch it on the go.
Exactly what I needed.
Love it
Looks awesome and works well, only complaint is it fogs kind of easy and fingerprints get on it extremely easy.
good quality, easy to take on and off. keep it in my backpack.
it does whistle a little bit, but it doesn't bother me.
Easy to attach, but sometimes there is fogging on the face shield.
Does the job works great. Keeps my eyes in and dirt and debris out em
This thing is top quality! Perfect fit, easy to install, and plenty of airflow, which will keep it from fogging up!
Works great for my Moto Bell 3
perfect addition for the gringo. easy attachment for cold weather or night riding. i just keep in in my backpack for whenever i need it. it doesnt fog up, although it does whistles a little, but it doesnt bother me.
Great fit and is great for riding on sunny days.
Excellent face shield, it does exactly what it was intended to do! However, keep in mind it is for sunny days with plenty of daylight. It may sound obvious, but it's not the best choice for a gray November day.
30 degrees in the Poconos when it arrived, didn’t feel a thing behind the shield. Recommended to bring along with your Gringo for those colder rides.
