What started out about a decade ago as a parking lot sale has evolved into a full-on happening. January is the perfect time of year when there are not many competing events, we’re all pretty over the holidays and So Cal weather is generally good enough to make travel from colder climes worth doing. This year the weather didn’t quite cooperate and we got some heavy rain in the afternoon but that’s why we hold it indoors at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Even with some gloomy weather, this was the best year yet!
Originally, we needed an outlet to sell Biltwell products that had been returned or had damaged packaging, etc. You might be surprised how many things we get back because of the tiniest scratch. Selling this stuff helps us out and stoked our local customers who get a deep discount one time per year. In recent years we’ve reached out to our friends like Dixxon and Rusty Butcher who bring their closeout stuff as well. The idea was to make it kinda like the old Ski Shows where you could buy perfectly good gear that was a year or two old.
The sale is really just one component of the Expo nowadays. For 2023 we had 60 custom bikes on display and over 50 vendors. Winners from four categories walked away with a cash prize of $1000 and we even raffled off a custom-built Softail by Speed-Kings Cycle.
On Friday night, since we all had to be there for load-in anyway, we decided to host an “Industry Workshop” where me and four other guys got on stage, talked about moving forward in today’s business climate and then took questions from other vendors. It seemed well-received and we are going to grow this next year to make it even more beneficial to entrepreneurs and brands of all sizes. We came up in the Action Sports industry before starting Biltwell in 2006 and several old salts told us that P&L reminded them of the early Action Sports Retailer shows.

When will my order ship? Generally, if we get your order before about 2:00PM PST it will go out that same day. This is not a 100% guarantee, but we always do our best. If you place your order anytime after 2:00PM PST on a Friday it will not ship until Monday. We do not ship over the weekend.
How soon will I receive it? That depends on which shipping method you select during check out. We ship with both USPS and UPS and you will get an email with a tracking number as soon as your package has shipped. During the checkout process, there is a built-in shipping calculator that you can use to help decide which method to choose.
Does Biltwell offer free shipping? Yes! On orders over $149 shipped in the Continental USA, our online store will automatically deduct shipping charges.
Do you ship to Military APO/FPO Addresses? We do! Please note: we can only ship via United States Postal Service to these addresses.
What about orders outside of the USA? We ship internationally every week. Please keep in mind that there may be additional customs fees, duties or taxes based on your country’s regulations. It’s your responsibility to pay these additional fees. This isn’t something we have control over, and its your responsibility to know and understand your country’s policy on shipments coming from the USA. Any refused/abandoned packages will not be refunded or reimbursed.

USA Customers: We offer a 30 day exchange policy on every product we offer. Call our dedicated customer service at (951) 699-1500 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org , in advance to obtain an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) within 30 days of purchase date. After acquiring an RMA number, we’ll send you a call tag free of charge to get your product headed back our way. Once the product is scanned in by UPS, we’ll release your exchange product(s) to get the product in transit to you and we’ll cover those shipping charges as well. We already charged you for freight once, might as well not charge you again.
International Customers: We offer a 30 day exchange policy on every product we offer.
