Gringo Helmet - 20th Anniversary

Perfect product.

Wonderful helmet.

Just took it out for the first time and loved it. I have been riding less than a year and tried other full-face helmets with shields, but never liked them…always felt a little claustrophobic. I wear the Gringo (ECE 22.06) with sunglasses and I think I’ve found the perfect blend of safety and comfort. I have a windscreen so road noise was not an issue. I did get the Moto 2.0 goggles as well and found them to be a very tight fit with my Large helmet. Also, my head measures 58cm, and I sized up to the Large helmet and it felt great riding for a couple hours today.

Very happy with this helmet (Gringo). Let me say I have a fairing/windshield on my motorcycle so consider that. The helmet seems quiet to me but I have the windshield and also wear ear plugs on long rides. This helmet feels like I have an open face helmet only that I also have the protection of the chin bar. The peripheral vision is as good as I have on my Biltwell Bonanza. Compared with the Bonanza it is bigger and heavier so I select the helmet for the ride. Now, for sizing issues: I wear a size Large in the Bonanza and it fits great. I called Biltwell and they recommended an XL for the Gringo. I took their advice and I'm glad I did. The XL Gringo fits great and is very comfortable. It is not a snug as I was expecting for a full face helmet but I can tell you the Large would have been too small for me in the Gringo. For your help in sizing: I wear a size 7 3/8 in a fitted hat and I wear a size 59 in an Australian fitted hat. In a western hat I wear a 7 3/8 (long oval). Both the Bonanza and the Gringo fit my "long oval" skull very well. In some helmets I get a pressure point on my forehead. I do not get that with these two helmets from Biltwell. I hope this helps someone on the sizing.

I bought this helmet for its good looks but I am impressed with its good quality and comfort. I’m going to sub the cheek pads for a thinner pair because I do have a fuller face than most. Helpful customer service and I will make more purchases from this company.

Comfy, cool looking helmet that’s safe and doesn’t break the bank. Popped a visor on and will continue to roll as long as Mother Nature will allow up here in the PNW. Thanks! Didn’t get my keychain, though.

I like the gloss vintage white Gringo. I went with the XL. Large was a little tight on the forehead. The lining is really comfortable. I also picked up a neck curtain for it. Will probably pick up a bubble shield at the end of summer. They even threw in a can koozie with magnets for free! It sticks to my toolbox. And I like Biltwell’s customer service and just how they run their business. They stand behind their products and that is important to me.

I just got the Gringo,beautiful helmet. My head size is 58cm so i got the M size. It did not fit at all so i went for L size

Love these Helmets. Build quality and graphics are top notch. I like the new interior padding. But.. it does change sizing and fit a little. Had to switch to a larger size than my previous Gringo Helmet. Customer service was very helpful with that process. Had my Helmet swapped out very quickly, with no hassle. I have, and will continue to recommend these to my fellow riders. Thanks Biltwell... keep up the good work.

Absolutely love the helmet. I wear a 7 5/8 cap. Had to order the XXL to fit comfortably. Great service. My only complaint is they made too many. Should have made a Element or World Industries to deflect posers. Yes we know you can trey flip. Before you got your cafe racer.

Awesome helmet and customer service—initially ordered a large (which technically fits my head once painfully jammed on) but had to exchange for an XL that could actually be taken on and off without pain. Customer service was super quick and helpful with explaining the difference in sizes, including shell size, and the exchange process was seamless. Immediately bought a second helmet for my fiance based on the helmet quality and buying experience. The interchangeable cheek pads are a nice touch and the universal bubble shield fits all of my helmets regardless of brand.

Absolutely love this helmet, fits perfectly, and comfortably. I’ve always had issues with face shields, and fogging or not getting enough ventilation, this helmet solves both problems for me.

Really like the helmet. Would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't so hard to snap the strap up because it's now in a fixed position.
