Who are you, where are you from, what is your day job?
I'm Mikey and I am from San Jose, California. I am a bodyman at a High End automotive shop.
Point out some of your favorite details:
Controls. Sissy bar. Motor. Paint. Molding on the frame.
What were some of your biggest struggles building the bike?
Time and money. It was hard trying to make it all happen at once. I had to do some of the final fitting and changing stuff up after the chrome and paint was done. I struggled having a vision and sticking to it in the beginning as well.
Did you learn any new skills building the bike?
I'd say I def got better at TIG welding and shooting pearl paint. It definitely taught me to pay attention on sourcing parts and hardware is key to not wasting time and money.
How does it ride?
It absolutely rips! It's really fun and a lil sketchy. This is my first time running a mechanical drum so that's been fun getting used to as well. Overall, it's comfy. Putting a gang of miles shouldn't be a problem at all. Oh, it sucks on gas haha So we will see if I make the 50 mile ride coming up.
Anyone you want to thank?
