What the hell is the Twine Ball Run? It's what happens when a dude gets tired of people saying "We need something like that in our area!" and just makes it happen. The dude in this case is named Bulldog, and he's crafted up a simple plan. He has secured a local fairgrounds, and you can bring your own food, drink, etc. The fee for camping is $10 a night, per bike.

When: July 29, 2010 10:00 PM to August 1, 2010 12:00 PM

Where: 101.4 miles NW of Salina, KS (I-70). Osborne County Fairgrounds in Osborne, KS. 19 miles to Cawker City, KS home of the world's largest ball of twine.

We'll be coming out for this and bringing a decent sized stash of giveaway stuff for the raffle and probably a fair amount of beer to share. If we're lucky, McGoo might make a few gallons of Outlaw Biker Sangria and everyone will be face down by dark.

Sat Morning Hangover Ride: July 31st. Ride to the Kansas Motorcycle Museum in Marquette, KS then back, stopping by the ol' ball-o-twine in Cawker City. Total miles 256.

Support grass roots events and guys like Bulldog.
