Lookin sharp!

This blue turned out to be as perfect a match between anodized AL and the painted Tahoe blue as one could hope for! So happy with them--and with the rainbow visor I already had, my new helmet looks fabulous! (I had to retire my copper lid due to age, and loved the rainbow visor on it, but against the blue, the visor's blue shades are now predominant vs the reds with the copper. 5 star for the visor, too!)

I ordered the black screw and base plate kit for the shield attaching hardware on new gloss black Lane Splitter. I personally though the black would go better with the black paint of the helmet. Turns out I was right. Did the job for me. Care is needed when replacing these and if you take your time they install nicely. As usual the Biltwell quality is there.👍🏼

On a recent motorcycle ride, I discovered that one of my visor screws had come off. I was on a long ride so at the next city I arrived. I got some duct tape to put on my helmet to hold it in place for the rest of my ride and I also ordered the screw and the ratcheting mechanism that both came off my helmet. Upon receiving the replacement items, I put them on my helmet. I attempted to adjust them and put them as directed, but they do not sit flush like my other face shield to down screw. They appear to be the same item, but for some reason the new ones do not sit flush.

Glad these are available for cheap riding hard and fast especially leaving my visor up a little puts a lot of strain on those screws and they fall out on long rides unless you tighten them a lot you can use a quarter and they come with some kind of lock tight I would put some extra on but if you don’t swap out your shield it should be good! Cool color options thanks!

This is a great, easy way to add a little flair to a flat black (or any monochrome helmet) without too much expense. I wish there was a quick release option, but for what it is, it's great.

Speedy delivery and perfect match part

Looks good on the flat black Gringo S helmet. I only ordered this because one of the original screws came out the 5th time I wore this helmet though... on the highway... during a huge rainstorm... Not a fun experience. I guess the locktite they use is worthless. I will check the tightness on this probably every time i wear the helmet now. Shouldn't have needed it but looks nice.
