Lane Splitter Helmet - Gloss Black / Gloss White Flames

This helmet saved my head. I just got sideswiped the other day and I’m still recovering. My head slammed into the asphalt really hard but my head was protected. Just a few sore spots but no actual damage to my skull or brain. (I also broke quite a few bones but my head was perfectly safe) The helmet did such a great job protecting me that I ordered another one to replace the one that got messed up in the wreck. 🤘🖤

He was stoked kissed me flew out the door took his bike to the skate track and didn”t take it off for an hour and hugged me every time he passed me so i Think he like”s it 🤩

Love lane splitters. I own 3 others but this independent release is the loudest helmet I own. My other are pretty old. Not sure what changed but go back to the original design. Love them. Now, I was going to buy another one. Wanted the blue one but I might have to reconsider this newer lane splitter. It is extremely loud. I even went back changed out helmets to confirm this and 100% these new lane splitters are to loud. Can’t even enjoy my cardo. Bummer. But, the helmet does look badass, and I love the aesthetic design.

I love the lane splitter. This is probably my 5th one.Great quality for low cost. My only complaint on this one is they didn't really advertise the other sides verbiage. "Built to Grind" ??? Wtf is that lol!!. I still love the helmet and I'm going to collect it because I'm still a skateboarder in my heart. That's just a bit cringy and hilarious. And where did the independent symbol go? I understand that's independents choice. I didn't plan on reviewing this but I was sent an email requesting a review so here we are.

Love the helmet. Was a bit small but with the smaller pads it fits perfectly. Super light and comfortable.

Helmet is nice....size chart runs small....had to send the xl back for 2x.....I like the fact you can get different size cheek pads.....if you have a really round head like I do order a size larger than you measure 😉

Runs a little smalll relatively to bell helmets. But just slightly.

Fits a little tighter than my old Lane splitter. However I do love this color and it fits my bike very well.

Bought a 2XL for my size 8 head. Yes I have short hair. Cheeks pads were awful. Completely squished my face. I didn't even put the helmet on again until after I searched online and installed the 5mm cheeks pads and they made the helmet fit OK. Wish there was a 3XL. Awesome looking helmet though.

Great helmet, looks cool and feels good. Much better than my Harley helmet. I had ordered a large and it was to big, they were great and easy to deal with getting me a medium. Had it exchanged within a week. Highly recommend.

Love the Helmet I’m just SUPER BUMMED they don’t have the Metallic Sierra Green color that I’m obsessed with. I was hoping their top of the line helmet would have their top of the line color options too! I decided to drown my sorrows in the gloss black. That’s really my only complaint tho with the helmet tho. It fits amazing and feels high quality. I love being able to support brands like this that take pride in their products and truly know what riders are looking for. I plan to be a life-long Biltwell supporter now, and if you’re reading this, stop debating and just buy the helmet and join the club.

This is my second Lane Splitter helmet purchase, the quality, fit and style was just what I was looking for in my price range. I grabbed the collaboration with Independent because I grew up skateboarding using independent trucks on my skateboard in Southern California. It brought me right back to that time and of course, the helmet looks bad ass! Quality remains the same, and the look is what I wanted. I definitely recommend grabbing the Lane Splitter, and I grabbed the Smoked out lens too!

The Lane Splitter helmet is very good quality, great fit (I did go to thinner cheek pads) and reasonably priced. I have been wearing for some time an older Biltwell Bonanza open face and also a non vented Gringo helmet. The quality at each of these price points is very good. Really happy with this purchase of the gloss black Lane Splitter. I also upgraded the shield to the Light Smoke and am happy with it as well.

Bought it for my gf because she needed a full face and we both like the aesthetic and color. It showed up and she loved it. Fit like a dream and seems super high quality.

J’ai commandé ce casque quand j’ai vu la collab de fou avec indy et je suis super content, après avoir bataillé pour qu’il arrive chez moi ( je suis en France et biltwell ne livre pas en France, j’ai du le faire livrer chez un pote en Belgique, au passage merci François !!) j’ai pu l’essayer sur autoroute et sur route de campagne et le verdict est sans appel ! Impeccable, confortable à souhait, pas trop lourd, seul bémol, le fais que l’aération frontal ne se ferme pas, je sais qu’à Cali il fait chaud mais dans le nord de la France ça pique un peu quand il fais 10 degrés Celsius 🤣 en tout cas envoi soigné et rapide, une réponse quasi instantanée à un mail que j’ai envoyé, un grand merci à Biltwell !!

Awesome helmet- the white perfectly matches my bike. Helmet feels solid- and has good airflow through the vents.

First things first, this is the best looking full helmet ever produced. Period. Comfortable as hell. The quality of the lining and internal materials is fantastic. I wish you could block the air vent up front (when it's 30 or so degrees in the morning) and I hope the visor loosens up a bit over time and is easier to operate.

Awesome helmet, plenty of air flow, looks great. I personally need smaller cheek pads, but it's great that they offer them, so you can get your helmet to fit your needs.
