SEPT 25-26 2026

WHAT IS THE GYPSY RUN? The East Coast Gypsy Run started in 2007 and has been organized by Walter Gemeinhardt of Kickstart Cycles ever since. This year, Biltwell is helping Walt with event administration.Originally inspired by the El Diablo Run, the Gypsy brought together a bunch of like-minded East Coast motorcyclists—plus a few of us West Coast nutjobs—who met on the internet and decided to plan a proper motorcycle run. A couple hundred miles through some of the best riding the East Coast has to offer. Simple. The run continued through 2022, when Walter decided it was time for a break. After a few years of some of the nicest emails you can imagine—people telling him how much they missed it—Walt figured it was time to bring it back. The best part of the Gypsy Run? Meeting people the old-fashioned way: broken down on the side of the road.

WHERE THE HECK IS IT? The first few Gypsy's were held in different spots until Walt landed on the perfect location with lots of room, great forest to camp in and friendly hosts. Lander's River Trips: 69 De Mauro Rd, Narrowsburg, NY, 12764 US
