Works as described and keeps the bugs off your face. However it doesn’t match the gold on the helmet perfectly but the road isn’t a runway. It would look great on a solid color helmet tho

Bought the chrome mirror bubble shield, absolutely love it... Only wish Biltwell would sell some type of protective film (like the ones you put o your cellphone) for the shields as they tend to get scratched rather easily. Going to buy the gold one next!

Looks super dope and very reflective from the outside. Does fog up a little if it is cold, but goes away very fast.

The bubble shield is great overall. Very comfortable and easy to adjust. But it had a scratch on the front as soon as I took it out of the box.. basically it came with a scratch. Its not that big but still when you pay for a new product, it should not have any problems in my humble opinion.

Very nice and it doesn’t fog up for me. At first I thought it was just a tinted shield because I was looking at it inside but outside in the sun it has a very nice gold effect.

Very unhappy. Emailed biltwell customer service the day I received that there were scratches off the chrome while still in packaging. No response.

It is not nearly as mirrored as shown on the picture it’s almost like a regular tinted visor with a slight mirror

This is my second Biltwell bubble shield. I like them very much. They seem more sturdy than other cheaper brands. My only issue has been a little bit of wind noise which can be remedied.

perfect for my Roeg Jett helmet

I recently purchased a bubble shield from Biltwell. At first appearances it seems to be well made. However, if I were going to review it I'd have to give it 3 of 5 stars. The reason you may ask? Well it isn't rigid enough and when wind is added to the equation it causes a very annoying rattle against the helmet.
I have put an edge protector around the perimeter where the shield is close to the sides of the helmet but I am skeptical it will do little more than minimize the issue.
I would like to make a suggestion that would eliminate this issue totally. My 3/4 helmet is a 5 snap. If the angle of the rear of the sides were changed to accommodate the two side snaps it would add rigidity and thus solve the rattle issue.
I have shopped for such a critter but it either doesn't exist or is highly illusive. I had one back in the 1980's but was made in the early 70's so I know they existed at one time. At any rate, I would gladly pay more for a 5 snap version if it were available and if you decide to offer one in the future I would certainly purchase it.

I already have the clear and mirror shield for my Biltwell helmet so thought I'd get the Yellow one too. Look good on the helmet and do what they are supposed to.

This bubble shield has the design charm of 1972 with modern anti-fog protection and scratch resistance. It works great on my open face Bonanza helmet

I owe my face to this product. Took a spill face first into the pavement and that shield took the beating and didn’t break or crack. I’ll always use biltwell products and I’ll swear by them

Went on my bonanza helmet I just purchased effortlessly. The bubble shield will take any of your compatible Biltwell helmets to cosmonaut status instantly. It feels great on the helmet, not noisy, good airflow on a hot day, love the visibility, and you don’t even realize it’s there. Great addition to anyone’s gear arsenal.
