The name of our investment-cast, retro MX-inspired foot pegs pays homage to Steve McQueen's alter ego at the legendary Elsinore Gran Prix. The Hollywood legend wrote "Harvey Mushman" on sign-up sheets so movie big wigs couldn't sweat him for living dangerously.

  • Investment-cast 4130 chromoly clevises with 5/16-18 t.p.i. Allen cap mounting hardware
  • Finish choices: Black electroplate peg and clevis; raw polished peg with chrome-plated clevis
  • Classic H-D clevis fits wide range of model-year Harley-Davidson motorcycles
  • Anti-sag washers supplied level foot pegs when installed on old or bent Harley peg brackets


Mushman foot pegs with classic H-D clevises fit a wide range of stock Harley-Davidson mid- and forward foot controls—please compare the appearance of our clevis with the foot peg you are replacing to confirm fitment. This peg WILL NOT FIT the following MoCo models:

• '13-'19 XL1200V, XL1200X, XL1200CX, FXSB/SE

• '11-'13 FXS

• '08-'11 FXCW/C

Apply a drop of Loc-Tite to the shaft of the clevis before you insert it into the receiver hole on the foot peg. Apply a second drop of Loc-Tite to the threads of the mounting bolt before tightening. Tighten firmly with an Allen wrench before riding. Re-check all mounting hardware again after the first ride.

Good quality, haven't use the. Much heat feelngoot on the feet. Let to no vibration. The grip is food with out being over kill. Thinking of using them on forwards so I'll have to see how that goes

These foot pegs have the perfect amount of grip on them to seat your foot, but not enough to over grip your sole for needing to quickly remove it to touch the ground. The install was fast and easy , the build quality as usual is top notch for the price ! Biltwell nailed it .

I love these pegs. After seeing them last year and being jealous as I was riding a Road Glide, I finally picked up a Sportster Roadster and put these on. Great finish, adjustability, and custom look. They are great on the highway too as your feet are stable and you switch positions to move your legs around. Great upgrade from stock and comfortability.

I picked a set of these up sometime this summer just before making a couple hundred mile ride out to Arizona. Installation is a snap, fit and finish is up to par with Biltwell's quality standards, and adjustment of the tilt on the peg is pretty easy. The first thing I noticed is the peg just feels better than a round profile, nice and grippy but they're not too grippy like a BMX pedal. 5 months later and I'm still super I pressed with them, the black is starting to wear away exposing stainless teeth wherever my boot makes contact. This only enhances the look of the peg as far as I'm concerned. I highly recommend getting a set, you won't regret it.
