What have you done?
So Far ive been focusing on getting all of the body/frame work done and getting the overall look of the bike together. Did some bondo and sprayed primer on the frame to see the fully molded frame and everything all in one peice. Ive obtained all the parts i need and have made a solid plan on how im going to go about building the dual front head motor.
What do you have left to do?
Next step will be actually assembling this motor, theres still a bit a fab work that needs to be done to the heads and cases, milling the dual plug holes, welding on intakes for the individual carbs, setting up the outside oil drain, and Elias Klein just finished relocating the exhaust flange on the front shovel head that im using on the rear cylinder so that the exhaust clears the front cylinder. Anything thats not chrome already on the motor will be getting a heavy polish. Im going to be making pivoting floorboards that will actuate the brake and clutch, there wont be any pedals, and i need to rebuild the girder front end or maybe make my own depending on if i have time, then finally paint the sunnuva bitch and hope i dont blow up again
Any problems so far?
Just going down the rabbit hole on engine building and figuring out a custom motor
Favorite part of the bike so far?
So i originally built this bike 2.5 years ago pretty cheaply, no fancy parts, still a swingarm frame, neck was raked out, and while I was on a trip the gas can I had on my sissy bar exploaded from hitting my exhaust pipe and caught me on fire. What a fuckin shit show that was, going down the free way at 80mph fully engulfed in flames. Dont carry a jerry can on your sissy if youve got high pipes, fuckin idiot. but here we are building it into a show bike
Favorite part of the competition?
Been stoked on seeing everyone else kill it with their builds
