Legit crowd size, especially for a first-year events
Inspired by our own Biltwell 100, the Rusty Butcher’s Hooligan 100 roared to life last weekend at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Hurricane Mills, TN. The three-day “oddball motorcycle” festival delivered a brutally challenging course paired with good vibes and wildly inappropriate machines.

We are stealing the teeter totter idea for sure!
Wonder how that back wheel is gonna hold up to all this abuse.
By Friday night, campers had staked their spots, bikes lined the dirt roads, and an optional enduro challenge set the tone—loose lines, enthusiastic riders, and the thrill of nontraditional two-wheeled mayhem. Saturday kicked off with waves of classes ripping through the woods all day. By evening, the crowd gathered for awards and a live set by Bones Owens—another high point in a day full of them.
Riders ready...
Let's go!
Dang, son.
What set the Hooligan 100 apart was its spirit: less about pure competition and more about community and creativity. With roughly 60 Harley-Davidson Sportsters turned into off-road Hooligan machines, “oddball” wasn’t an insult—it was a badge of honor. The attrition rate was high (170 signed up 120 showed up to race and 22 finished 5 laps), but so were the spirits. Nearly every rider was already talking about coming back next year.
Min bike = maxi fun.
HOOLIGAN
Some of the Sportster builds looked like they could be factory bikes
By Sunday morning, it was time to pack up, but the memories stuck: dusty boots, new friends, and the echo of tortured Sportsters under Tennessee skies. If this weekend was any indication, Rusty Butcher’s Hooligan 100 is carving its own legacy at Loretta Lynn’s—and we were stoked to be a part of it.
Some look more ready for Baja or Dakar than Tennessee
TV's back wheel just couldn't couldn't hack it.
Mark went all out with cool trophies.

Note, he gets a flat rear tire around mile 8 and cusses himself for next 12 miles so turn the sound up and enjoy. Or turn it down all the way if you work in a cubicle.
