Gypsy Run X

Gypsy Run X

GYPSY RUN X 2016 Gypsy Run X. Of course it’s cliche, but a lot has changed since the first one ten years ago, and yet so much has stayed exactly the same. Guys like Kuda and Fritz manage to not age a bit and Walter and I got way fatter and older. The roads are just as good as ever, but Jersey is still hell on earth to navigate. The New England towns are just as quaint, but the bikes have gotten slightly more reliable. The partying is probably more fierce and there are definitely way more pretty girls. East Coast riders still keep a way tighter pack and us West Coasters still split off on our own after the second gas stop. Bucking the soggy weather trends of the past decade, the GRX had only a little light rain, and no one bitched about that. Walter from Kickstart Cycle and his crew have piloted this creaking ship of misfits since year two and he swears that number ten was the last one–at least in this exact format. Like many a rock star with more than an ounce of dignity, he’s chosen to let the thing burn out rather than fade away. He’s got plans for the future, but they won’t look exactly like the past, and that’s totally OK with us. [foogallery id="17650"] We've got tons of photos and a video in the works. Here's a few images for now, we'll upload some more in future posts. More info at www.eastcoastgypsyrun.com or www.instagram.com/gypsy_run/ -Bill
