Frisco
Chrome or Black ED finish. Available in 7/8-inch or 1-inch O.D.
Chopper freaks in the 1960’s cooked up some pretty wild handlebars for their custom death traps, especially in California’s fabled San Francisco Bay Area. Our Frisco bar pays homage to the bikes of guys like Sonny Barger, Arlen Ness and Tobie Gene Levingston.

Keystone Bar
Chrome or Black ED finish. Available in 7/8-inch or 1-inch O.D.
Looking for still more style and originality for your custom bike? Consider our Keystone bar. Similar to the Z Bar in every detail, but the uprights are angled inward for a more aggressive look.

Aces Bar
Chrome or Black ED finish. Available in 7/8-inch or 1-inch O.D.
This classic bend was designed by our friend Wes White at Four Aces Cycle in Pacoima, CA.
Generally speaking, most handlebars fall into one of four categories:
$29 drag bars
$75 generic OEM replacement bars
$100-plus aftermarket “custom” bars (apes, Z’s, T-bars and the like)
$200-plus “master builder” signature bars
With few exceptions&—those great stainless-steel handlebars from Exile come quickly to mind—most handlebars are made of mild steel. Don’t get us wrong—mild steel has many great properties. It’s easy to bend, easy to weld, abundant and affordable. However, when compared to seamless 4130 chromoly, the load strength, tensile strength and bend resistance of mild steel falls far short of its high-tech brother. This might explain why ab crunchers are made out of mild steel and why small aircraft fuselages are made out of chromoly. No one ever plummeted 30,000 feet to their death when their sit-up machine took a shit.
MATERIALS: Biltwell handlebars are precision crafted with 100% seamless 4130 chromoly. Depending on each bar’s size and design, the wall thickness of our tubing varies from 1.6mm to 2.0mm. These wall variances let us minimize weight without compromising strength.
SURFACE FINISH: Biltwell handlebars feature a brilliant triple-plated chrome finish, or super durable, black electro-plate. Triple chrome plating involves coating our polished chromoly tubing in three materials:
first layer: copper (fills in microscopic surface imperfections)
second layer: nickel (increases surface durability)
final layer: chrome (provides a rugged, easy-to-clean mirror finish)
SIZES: All five Biltwell handlebar designs are available in two diameters:
7/8 inch (22.2mm)—British bikes, Japanese bikes
1.0 inch (25.4mm)—Harley-Davidson, metric cruisers, most customs
TIG WELDING: All the joints on our multi-piece bar designs are precision cut, mitered and TIG welded by hand. We don’t polish the welds on Biltwell handlebars. Any TIG beads as good-looking as ours should be front and center for everyone to enjoy.
CUSTOM: Biltwell handlebars are not dimpled or drilled to accept original equipment throttle, brake and clutch assemblies. There are hundreds of handlebars available for bike builders who wish to use stock controls. Biltwell handlebars are designed for the custom builder who values strength and style over shade tree simplicity.
VALUE: We know what you might be thinking—If Biltwell bars are so damned good, why are they so low-priced compared to our allegedly inferior competition?
The simple answer to that reasonable question is this:
We never set our prices based on what the market will bear. In other words, just because companies have successfully forced their customers to pay 200 or even 300 dollars for a set of handlebars, that doesn’t mean they should. At Biltwell, our prices are determined by simple mathematics. Our manufacturer charges us a fair price for great quality and consistent delivery. After calculating a reasonable profit margin for our distributors and dealers, we pass the savings onto the people who buy and use our products. This way nobody gets screwed, everyone makes an honest living, and everyone wins.
MSRP: (All bars) $77
