Details Make the Difference: An Up-Close Look at the Custom Motorcycles of Chopperfest 2018 (Both of ’em)

One of our favorite things to do at motorcycle shows is go around and look at all the handmade details. Even if a bike isn’t exactly the style I prefer, there’s almost always some sort of small, hand-crafted solution on it that is remarkable. Since there were two David Mann Chopperfest shows this year (December 2017 show got bumped to February 2018 because of wildfires in Ventura) we had two chances to pick out a few outstanding bits to show off here. We’ll do another post that shows complete bikes, but for now, here’s some delicious details to drool over…

  • Where can I find more photos of the last bike? I dig that engraving.

    • Biltwell

Nick, I looked through our stash and that pic is the only one I could find!

  • Alan Mayes

These are superb photos. Who was the photographer?

    • Biltwell

Alan, that’s our intrepid staff shooter, Geoff Kowalchuk. You can follow him on Instagram and see more of his work here: https://www.instagram.com/geoffkowalchuk/

        Thanks. He’s an excellent photographer
