Received the helmet quickly. It was well packed. The product quality is great and very comfortable. Thanks to the biltwell team
First, I must say. Biltwell nailed this and made a killer old school helmet. My first thought was I haven't had a lid like this since the 70s. Granted I don't remember the 80s or very much of the 90s but, I was young in the 70s and I had funky cool helmetstthat I'd rip the shield off when scratched. I couldn't decide between Gringo or the Bullitt, so I bought both. Other than being able to smoke with the Bullitt on. The Gringo is the way to go!! More comfortable, cool, and may save my teeth if I have a frontal blow. The other one doesn't seem to have much face protection but hey, I didn't go to college. I just have common sense. Some things can't be taught. The Gringo is 100% High-Tech/Red-Neck/God&Gun approved. Ride safe and be cool my friends.
This helmet is great! It looks awesome, it fits awesome, the price is awesome. If you're the type of rider that is worried about bugs and wind, sell your moped and go buy a Prius.
Received this beauty just before my final ride of the season. While fuelling up in a foreign community, I was approached by a lovely cougar (one with two legs) who invited me over to warm up. I knew it had to have been my lid and new Frisco bars that moisten her undergarments. Thanks Biltwell for getting a young man laid.
I think this is my 4th helmet in my riding career. I gotta say, it's very comfortable, feels good on my head and isn't too heavy. Not a lot of wind noise like my previous modular helmet. I would recommend that you get the bubble shield or a pair of goggles. Overall though, this is a pretty nice helmet. No complaints
