Design: The Sporty-8 seat is a leaner and cleaner version of the stock one-up seat H-D introduced on the Forty-Eight XL a couple years ago. The Sporty-8 is for guys who want the super low-profile and one-up styling of a solo seat, with none of the junky springs and nose hinges that such a custom set-up normally requires.
Fitment: This seat is a direct bolt-on for 2010 – 2017 Sportster models.
Construction: Vacuum-formed ABS plastic pan with molded polyurethane foam padding. Hand-sewn heavy-duty black vinyl cover with polyester thread. Plated steel mounting brackets.
Note: Our seat covers are extremely water resistant, but the seams are not. If left outside in the rain, these seats can soak up water. This is especially true of the Diamond or Tuck n’ Roll designs since they have more stitched seams. If you expect rain or snow, cover the seat to keep your saddle dry.
Put this on my 2011 Harley Nightster...Absolutely love it! It straightens out the lines on the bike. I was going to cut the stock rear fender, but this seat exposed more of the rear fender giving it a 50's look.... Nice job Biltwell!
I got this seat in place of the asphalt hard harley seat and it exceeded my expectations. It's comfortable and adds a hard bobber look to the sporty. I would highly recommend this seat to anyone. Great job and kudos to Biltwell and thanks for the stickers!
I got this seat for my 2012 HD 72 and I love it. The stock Harley solo seat was way too hard for my boney ass. This seat is plush and it's built to last. I would have paid a lot more money than Biltwell is asking for this, just don't tell them :)
This seat rocks. I have an '04 and moved my ICU to the battery box in order to fit the Harley version of this seat. While I liked the looks of the Harley seat, as everyone says, its hard as a brick. It's also a bit wider in the front making it very uncomfortable on the inner thighs. There's little to no rise in the back making easy to slip off. THIS SEAT SOLVES ALL OF THOSE ISSUES. Its comfortable, looks great and is well made. Cant say enough about Biltwell. Keep it up!
