Details: The scale and surface detailing on Gordo risers complement the beefy trees and 49mm O.D. legs on late-model Harley-Davidson hydraulic forks perfectly. Like every other riser in the Biltwell line, Gordo risers are designed for custom applications—please assess details like cable length and bar width on your motorcycle before ordering. If you have questions, send us an email describing your application and we’ll try to help. Make sure to include a description of your handlebars, the make and model year of your motorcycle, fork style and other details.
Fitment: The Gordo riser's through-bolt base design allows builders and customizers a wide range of fitment options, including but not limited to H-D springer forks and select aftermarket varieties. The 1/2-inch hole in the bottom of each riser accepts a standard 1/2-13 t.p.i. Allen cap bolt so you can fasten each riser directly to the fork legs DNA, older H-D and select springer models. If your bike features hydraulic forks, any top tree with 1/2-inch riser mounting holes or rubber isolators of the same size will accept 1/2-inch hardware, making the Gordo riser our most versatile for a wide range of custom applications. The handlebar clamp on Gordo risers fits 1-inch O.D. handlebars. Available in three heights: 2", 4" and 6".
Construction: Investment-cast chromoly steel with hand polished surface detailing; mirror chrome or matte black electroplated finish. 5/16-18 t.p.i. stainless steel Allen cap screws on bar clamps; 1/2-inch hole in riser base accepts 1/2-inch O.D. Allen cap mounting bolts.
Black ED: The black finish on Biltwell handlebars and risers is called Black Electrostatic Discharge or BED, and is applied the same way chrome plate is applied to raw materials. Like chrome plating, powdercoating and standard paint finishes, BED requires periodic care to maintain its luster. Soapy water and a soft cloth will remove surface dirt from BED, and common automotive waxes and polishes work great to protect the finish.
