Overview: As you may know, if the spring bungs on your chopper frame don’t align with the threaded studs on the bottom of your solo seat, easy installation is practically impossible. Biltwell has addressed this design shortcoming by allowing the carriage bolts on the bottom of this solo seat to slide inside two channels so you can fine-tune their location relative to the bungs on the frame. The Thinline solo seat features a stamped steel pan with raised ribs and Biltwell anvil branding for beauty and strength. Its satin black electroplated finish is both rugged and stylish. The molded polyurethane foam padding is thin yet comfortable, and follows the kicked-up shape of the Thinline pan perfectly to provide support for your backside. This seat is finished off with a heavy duty black vinyl cover.
Note: Our seat covers are extremely water resistant, but the seams are not. If left outside in the rain, these seats can soak up water. This is especially true of the Diamond or Tuck n’ Roll designs since they have more stitched seams. If you expect rain or snow, cover the seat to keep your saddle dry.
I used this seat on my 1955 Panhead build and took it on a 4,000 mile road trip, super comfortable and looked great on the bike, cant fault it, great quality and finish.
This seat is the best! Great combo with my vertical tuck n roll harlot p-pad. Good job Biltwell!
Great seat. Very well done and with excellent finishing. It is small and narrow as I wanted, perfect to my chopper project.
