Trade & Media Resource Portal

Event Date: January 12-13, 2024
Location: Del Mar Fairgrounds; Del Mar, CA

Overview: What started out as the annual Biltwell parking lot sale over a decade ago has evolved into the Parts & Labor Custom Motorcycle Expo. After outgrowing every prior venue, Biltwell settled on Del Mar Fairgrounds in sunny Southern California for their event’s permanent home.

At Parts and Labor’s inaugural event at this location in 2023, what was once merely a place to shop for scratch and dent products from Biltwell and a handful of boutique brands has now become the biggest little trade expo and custom motorcycle show in the business. Today Parts & Labor is the place to be to shake off holiday overload and kick start your motorcycle passions for the new year. Thousands of like-minded motorcycle enthusiasts, their families, and bargain shoppers will converge at Del Mar Fairgrounds Saturday, January 13 to score deals from nearly 80 vendors, and to admire over 75 custom motorcycles in a variety of bike show classes.

The builders whose machines are chosen Best in Class and Best in Show will win a share of over ten-thousand dollars in cash and prizes. This enormous bounty is provided by the generous sponsors and vendors at Parts & Labor, including:

As an added bonus during booth set-up Friday evening, Biltwell co-founder/brand manager Bill Bryant and Biltwell marketing/events manager Mike Deutsch will host a trade-oriented Q&A for vendors and their staff. At this symposium leaders from a variety of brands and industries will share knowledge, trade secrets, best business practices, and inside tips from their decades of entrepreneurial experience. The first Biltwell Trade Symposium in 2023 ran nearly two hours, and featured players from B2B, D2C, action sports, and off-road events promotion and management. The approximately 200 vendor executives and staff on hand last year were enthralled, and gained critical insights for navigating today’s challenging global motorcycle market. With speakers from the surf, skateboard, and motorcycle industries slated to appear this year, the 2024 Parts and Labor Trade Symposium will be even bigger and better.
